Technical requirements for sprocket and chain installation of shot blasting machine
The axes of the two sprockets of the shot blasting machine must be parallel. Otherwise, it will increase the wear of the sprocket and chain, increase the noise and reduce the stability.
The axial offset between the chains of the two shot blasting machines should not be too large. When the center distance between the two wheels is less than 500mm, the axial offset shall not exceed 1mm; when the center distance between the two wheels is greater than 500mm, the axial offset shall not exceed 2mm.
The radial circular runout and end face circular runout of the shot blasting machine sprocket should meet the requirements, and the runout can be corrected with a dial or a dial indicator.
The tension of the shot blasting machine chain should be appropriate. Too tight will increase the load and accelerate wear; too loose will easily cause vibration or chain drop.
