What to do if the dust collector contains too many pellets
Firstly, it is necessary to reevaluate and select the appropriate type and model of the dust collector. Analyze the working condition parameters in detail, including the characteristics of dust and projectiles, the processing air volume, temperature, humidity, etc., and choose a dust collector that can meet the separation requirements.
Secondly, adjust the airflow speed. Install an airflow speed control device, such as a frequency converter to control the fan speed, or adjust the shape and size of the air duct to control the airflow speed within an appropriate range to allow sufficient time for the projectiles to separate and settle under gravity.
Also, optimize the separation device. Increase or improve the number and angle of baffles, and enhance the density and accuracy of the filter screen to ensure it can effectively block the projectiles.
replace or repair the filter material. Select a filter material with smaller pores, higher strength, and better wear resistance, and replace the worn filter components in a timely manner.
Add a pre-separation device. Install a pre-separation device such as a cyclone separator or inertial separator in front of the dust collector inlet to separate the larger projectiles in advance.
Control the inlet dust concentration. Improve the production process to reduce the generation of dust and projectiles; or add a primary coarse filtration device to reduce the concentration of the mixture entering the dust collector.
